Pediatric Clinical Psychologist - Hematology & Oncology (M67897)

They are seeking a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist to provide clinical care and lead a multi-disciplinary team within the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, ensuring coordinated care and professional development for team members.

Responsibilities

Teaching: Faculty member will have teaching responsibilities in the area of Hematology/Oncology Psychology. Faculty member will provide guidance and mentorship to Residents and Chief Residents in the area of Hematology/Oncology Psychology
Research: Faculty member will have experience in securing revenue through grants and contracts and will serve as a research mentor to other members of the division and the department of Pediatrics
Service: Faculty member will serve on departmental or School of Medicine level committees when appropriate, as well as professional through journal review, conference presentations, etc
Clinical: Faculty member will serve as a Psychologist in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. The division provides clinical care to both inpatient and outpatient arenas

Required

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Counseling from an APA- accredited doctoral program
Experience with clinical care of patients ages birth to 21
Experience with education of house-staff, medical students, and others
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU

Preferred

Experience in programmatic development/leadership
Sub-board and or additional graduate degree
Experience with advocacy at local, state, and national level
Success in generating revenue (grants/contracts)
