Responsibilities
Support customers throughout the safety case and risk assessment lifecycle. Serve as a lead to enable customer certification outcomes across range of different standards
Work on safety case of product based on standards such as ISO 12100, ISO 10218-1 / 2, ISO 13849- 1 / 2, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 61010-1, IEC 62368, EMC standards such as IEC 61000 series and FCC to get UL, or CE and FCC mark
Make checklists and templates for assessment of various products for software and hardware electrical and functional safety
Must have been through the safety and compliance lifecycle as a safety engineer or safety consultant leading an initiative. Proven experience with dealing with ambiguities and tradeoffs of meeting standards
Build custom datasets for integration, productionization, and usage within the Saphira platform
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in safety engineering or safety consulting
Experience supporting customers throughout the safety case and risk assessment lifecycle
Proven experience with dealing with ambiguities and tradeoffs of meeting standards
Experience working on safety case of product based on standards such as ISO 12100, ISO 10218-1 / 2, ISO 13849- 1 / 2, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 61010-1, IEC 62368, EMC standards such as IEC 61000 series and FCC
Ability to create checklists and templates for assessment of various products for software and hardware electrical and functional safety
