Cath Lab Technologist
Heart Hospital of Austin is a leading facility renowned for its exceptional performance in cardiovascular care. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care, scrubbing for diagnostic/interventional cases, and monitoring hemodynamic systems while assisting with inventory management and process improvements.

You will scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures
You will monitor and document procedure in the hemodynamic system
You will educate patients and family members regarding the technical aspects of the procedure
You will assist in ordering supplies/maintaining inventory
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
ACLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy – Required within 6 months
RCIS, or RCES, or RT ( R ) license from an accrediting body – Required within 12 months
BLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy
Preferred
Cath Lab/Special Procedures Lab experience
Associate degree or above
Current Enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program
