Sr. Business Director, Head of Strategy for Enterprise Product & Experiences
Capital One is one of the largest financial institutions in the country, and they are seeking a Head of Strategy for their Enterprise Product & Experiences team. This role is responsible for leading high priority strategic projects, shaping strategies for enterprise products, and directing the Product Management function.

Responsibilities
Understanding strategic issues and the role of your team in addressing those issues
Oversee the development of project proposals, work plans, primary and secondary research, and qualitative and quantitative analysis
Manage ambiguity and consistently seek to drive clarity amongst team, partners and key stakeholders
Craft storylines that clearly articulate findings, insights, and recommendations
Directly liaise and communicate with senior leadership to move the organization to action
Develop and maintain relationships with key business leaders to enable improved decision-making around go-to-market strategy
Manage, mentor and support the development of less experienced associates on the team
Responsible for helping to lead and drive internal initiatives including but not limited to recruiting, staffing, diversity & inclusion, social activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis
At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis
At least 2 years of experience in people management
At least 2 years of experience in project management
Strategy Consulting Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of post-MBA experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm with a strong track record of performance
Proven track record in project execution environment is key
Relevant Functional Experience: The right fit candidate will have a strong interest in technology and product management
Prior exposure to technology, digital, financial services or consumer products, either pre-consulting or during their time in consulting, is ideal but not required
Leadership and Stakeholder Management: The ideal candidate will be a natural born leader with a minimum of six months at the Manager level
Comfort managing both a team of top-performing consultants as well as managing senior client stakeholders is key
Talent Magnet/Recruiting Experience: Ideally, the right fit candidate will have experience leading an aspect of recruiting at their respective consulting firm or be viewed as a 'talent magnet' at a minimum
Structured and Logical Thinking: Superior critical thinking skills are critical to this role, including the ability to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts and demonstrate a ‘nose for value' to discern what is important and draw valid conclusions
Analytical Aptitude: This person must possess the ability to run and manage highly complicated quantitative analysis in a defect-free manner with a deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Cultural Fit: This person will show proof of possessing the 4H's throughout their personal and professional career, which are the cultural components critical to success at Capital One: horsepower, hunger, heart, and humility
