Estimator/Project Manager - Fire Protection
Lee Industrial Contracting is a 100% employee-owned company based in Pontiac, Michigan, specializing in industrial contracting for equipment installation, construction, and service projects. They are seeking an Estimator/Project Manager in Fire Protection to ensure safety protocols, manage client relationships, and oversee service estimates and project coordination.

Responsibilities
Ensure all safety protocols are identified and communicated to the field
Act as the primary point of contact with Account Managers for client inquiries, issues, and service requests
Collaborate with Account Management and internal teams to coordinate service estimates, delivery and ensure customers receive timely and effective solutions
Participate in finalizing a complete scope of work in conjunction with other trade service managers and the Account Management team for submission to customers
Conduct regular check-ins with Account Managers and customers to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services or enhancements
Work with account management and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues proactively, ensuring a positive client experience
Participate in contract negotiations and renewals, working closely with the sales team to secure favorable terms for both the client and the company
Attend site visits as needed to review the progress of the service work
Manage material and manpower for assigned service work
Determine the scope of change orders as the service work progresses using appropriate estimating methods
Attend safety, training, sales, strategy, and other meetings as required
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in the fire protection/sprinkler trade estimating and managing projects
Project coordination experience
Good communication and organizational skills will be essential
The ability to read and understand building blueprints, and specifications
Knowledge of AutoCAD and PDF markup software
Be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Excellent time management skills
Accountability to yourself and your co-workers
State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor License with Fire Suppression classification
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
OSHA 30 or 510 certifications are a plus
NICET Level III Certification is preferred but not required
