Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and medical expertise in rheumatology across all phases of drug development (Phase I to registration)
Oversee and guide the design, conduct, and interpretation of clinical trials
Ensure transparent communication of study plans, progress, risks, and results to stakeholders
Offer clear vision, direction, and purpose to global and cross-functional study teams
Collaborate in a matrix organizational structure, influencing without direct authority
Serve as a problem solver, negotiator, and strategic advisor in clinical program execution
Qualification
Required
Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent degree (required)
Completed specialty education (residency/fellowship) in rheumatology
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in the pharma/biotech industry
Proven track record in drug development from Phase I to registration
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Preferred
Board certification in rheumatology
Experience working in both academic and industry settings
Familiarity with regulatory submissions and approvals
Background in translational research and precision medicine approaches
