Responsibilities
Applying civil engineering principles to site layout, grading, stormwater, water and sewer, erosion control, and roadway/fueling design
Assisting in technical writing for civil reports, letters, and permit documents
Drafting construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
Preparing improvement plans, specifications, and permit applications
Performing and reviewing calculations for drainage systems, water/wastewater, transportation, and site earthwork quantities
Recognizing discrepancies in data and resolving them through detailed, step-by-step processes
Managing multiple projects with awareness of schedule, budget, and client expectations
Playing an active role in business development and client engagement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Engineering from a board-approved, four-year engineering curriculum
Minimum of 4 years of civil engineering experience required
Possession of a PE license or eligibility to take the PE exam within six months of hire
Preferred
At least 2 years of land development experience is highly preferred
