Responsibilities
Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders
Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive analytics and automation roadmap aligned with business objectives
Drive automation-first strategies that reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability across network operations
Lead a high-performing global team of analysts and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Ensure network automation complies with relevant regulatory requirements, security requirements and industry standards
Establish Key Performance Indicators and Service-Level Objectives to measure operational effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Computer Science degree or other software engineering discipline or equivalent
Strong knowledge and understanding of network protocols and technologies, automation technologies and AI/ML-driven observability platforms and analytics tools, including Terraform, Itential, NetDevOps, Splunk, Python, React JS, Django and database technologies such as MySQL DB and Redis
Experience with custom application development using Python, advanced analytics, and data science
Proven experience in building and leading high-performing global teams, driving innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Proven track record of leading and managing teams in a complex, enterprise-wide environment
Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive organizational change and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Preferred
Knowledge of Agile framework & SCRUM ceremonies
Financial services industry experience or experience in other highly regulated industries
Knowledge of public and hybrid cloud networking
