Responsibilities
Educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period
Play a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring families feel supported and empowered
Accept insurance hassle-free by credentialing with health plans and handling billing and admin paperwork
Maintain a flexible schedule by choosing how many clients to see through Pomelo
Grow your client base by providing client outreach support
Grow the doula community within the Pomelo network
Qualification
Required
Completed certification as a birth and/or full spectrum doula from a recognized organization
Experience working as a doula with in-depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds both virtually and in-person
Comfortable using tele-health platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems
Able to work virtually and in-person, as well as evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of families
Doula certification/training verification
NPI number
Adult & Infant CPR & First Aid Certification
Completion of an OIG background screening
