Tax Manager, State & Local Tax Consulting

They are seeking a State and Local Tax Manager specializing in Sales and Use Tax to perform tax research, manage tax engagements, and provide leadership within the tax engagement team.

Responsibilities
Performing tax research on state and local tax matters such as tax planning, implementation, due diligence, state refund studies, and state tax controversies with state jurisdictions
Demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship skills
Work directly with clients and manage the tax engagement team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
CPA, JD/LLM, or CMI required
5 years of tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus
Possess strong research, writing skills and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships
Demonstrated ability and desire to perform in a high-energy, dynamic environment
Preferred
Having some review and supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
