Program Director

GLE Talent is a dynamic and growing healthcare communications company that partners with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. They are seeking a Program Director to manage multiple client projects, ensuring quality control and leading cross-functional teams to deliver promotional medical education projects.

Responsibilities

Reviews and evaluates all project-related deliverables and processes (e.g., editorial, logistics, art, production) at key stages during development to ensure that objectives are achieved and quality control is maintained
Responsible for maintenance and renewal of ongoing assigned business
Leads cross-functional teams in the on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy delivery of promotional medical education projects and programs, such as slide kits, broadcasts, web & audio conferences, advisory boards, speaker training meetings, videos, etc
Develop project proposals and budgets for assigned clients. Presents proposals as needed
Manages processes and employs financial controls to achieve financial targets. Oversees budget development, implementation/monitoring, and final program reconciliation
Serves as the principal overall account expert for the team. Ensures understanding of and compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures among team members
Establishes, maintains, and supports strong client and KOL relationships by understanding the client's business and strategy
Responsible with EVP for developing account strategies and plans
Supervises assigned staff and conducts performance planning and appraisals

Required

BA or BS degree or greater
Management experience with a pharmaceutical company or project/account management experience in a healthcare marketing or pharmaceutical medical communications agency environment
Experience in multiple therapeutic disease categories
Strong leadership and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and able to quickly learn database software applications
