Growth Opportunities

Responsibilities

Provides daily support to Client Advisors and personal line accounts. Completing applications for new business policies and renewals
Sending applications to companies. Checks all lines of personal insurance for accuracy and rates for new and renewal business
Updating computer records; issues invoices for agency bill policies
Updating the computer upon receipt of policies. Using various company websites (quoting, MVRs, etc.)
Checking renewal premiums for remarketing rate comparisons and quotes
Maintaining all supplies from companies, including company forms, cancellations, and endorsements for the department
Learning all Personal Lines service standards and procedures, including daily service and building relationships with clients and with insurance companies
Developing and maintaining Client Advisor confidence in job knowledge, judgment calls, and awareness of current industry trends and developments
Documenting all correspondence, following up for necessary information updates and keeping the client files organized and up to date
Thoroughly completing assigned policy audits
Works together with team and with other departments, such as Marketing and Claims; including conferencing with Producer or Client Advisor to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed
Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program

Required

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related insurance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must hold applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain such within 90 days of employment
Must be able to obtain insurance designations as set forth by the organization's education plan
