Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Global Head of Mortgage Solutions and key stakeholders, including US Mortgage Operations, to set and execute the vision of the product strategy for mortgage and HELOC home lending products, emphasizing an AI-native approach, innovation, deep intellectual curiosity, and a desire to drive change
Lead the development and enhancement of mortgage financial products/features from ideation to launch, considering market trends, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and ongoing monitoring and enhancements
Coach the product team to hone their technical skills through the product lifecycle and deepen their domain knowledge
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new financial and software mortgage products, evaluate competitors, and assess customer preferences and behavior
Collaborate with Bankers, Mortgage Specialists, Mortgage Credit Risk & Operation, and Technology (internal and external) teams to ensure seamless product implementation, effective communication, and alignment of strategies
Work closely with legal, risk, compliance, and controls teams to ensure mortgage products comply with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks associated with credit, operational, and market factors
Ensure the team champions the client/user experience by gathering feedback, addressing pain points, and continuously improving mortgage products and processes
Provide training and support to internal teams to ensure they have the knowledge and resources to effectively promote and support mortgage products
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in end-to-end product management with mortgage origination/industry experience, including deep subject matter expertise in financial mortgage products
Proven transformation experience, including project and program management that spans business and partner teams within the financial services industry
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including excellent presentation skills and the proven ability to distill complex ideas into consumable and actionable materials
Experience in enterprise-wide release and deployment processes and strategies
Highly collaborative, with the ability to connect and partner effectively with global teams to influence outcomes and deliver results
Demonstrated track record of adapting to a rapidly changing business environment, with the ability to quickly assess situations, act decisively, and capitalize on change
Leadership skills are essential to lead a team of directs managing various programs and product work, and stakeholders ranging from technology to Legal, Risk, and Compliance
