Billing Coordinator

Responsible for performing a variety of billing functions to minimize accounts receivable and enhance collection
Works in a timely and courteous manner when responding to patients, physicians or insurance companies inquiries
Serves as a resource person for ALL department staff on questions regarding billing and claims issue
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Up to one year of basic technical training in health care billing/customer service
Three to six months of previous experience
Three months or less of on the job training and orientation
Preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
