Assessment
Identification of target behaviors
Hypothesis on function of target behaviors
Data collection
Creation of graphic display of data collection
Narrative summarizing findings
Design and oversight of implementation of behavior modification plan
Designs, coordinates and facilitates Behavioral-based assessment and intervention for identified populations
Reduce/eliminate the possibility of injuries to residents and staff
Increase resident’s ability to self-manage by teaching and reinforcing their use of alternate, pro-social behavior
Increase staff understanding of the function of the resident’s maladaptive behaviors
Increase staff ability to prevent these behaviors
Increase staff ability to teach and reinforce alternate, replacement behaviors
Oversight of implementation of behavior modification plan
Development/implementation of unit-based level/point system
Qualification
Required
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master's degree or Board-Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCABA) with a Bachelor's degree
Excellent documentation skills
Knowledge of basic Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel)
Extensive interpersonal skills
Ability to apply clinical knowledge to complete Behavioral Review
Comprehensive Behavioral Assessment and Individualized Behavior Plans for resident population
Ability to accurately apply clinical knowledge based on resident's age, I.Q., diagnosis and history
Continuous verbal and written communication, hearing ordinary conversation
Occasionally hearing high pitched or low-pitched sounds
Continuous firm/simple grasping and fine manipulating of both hands
