The role involves working closely under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer to develop concepts, designs, and specifications for various projects including educational, municipal, and commercial structures.

Responsibilities

Determine structural loading criteria, perform complex design calculations, and prepare structural specifications

Perform field investigations and document findings

Work closely with other engineering and architectural disciplines

Produce construction documents using Revit (BIM)

Review shop drawings, respond to RFI's and perform field observations during CA phase

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with structural coursework

Engineering in Training Certificate (E.I.T.) required

0 to 5 years of experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and/or wood design is required

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and structural engineering design software (RISA, SAP, and/or TSD) is required

Preferred

Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering
