Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic PET / CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance to hospital, state and federal guidelines and policies

Have a working knowledge of all aspects of the above imaging modalities

Assist the patients, fellow staff and physicians as needed

Qualification

Nuclear Medicine CertificationMathematical SkillsPatient CareNuclear Medicine DegreeTeam Collaboration

Required

Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine or Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program

Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N))

Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

BLS from the American Heart Association

Less than one year - Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program
