Responsibilities
Manage Production personnel by:
Assisting Production Supervisors in Interviewing and recommending the hiring of production personnel
Developing and monitoring work requirements and expectations
Training personnel in work expectations and job related technical skills
Setting and monitoring objectives
Maintain discipline, morale and personnel relations and address appropriately through established plans
Documenting performance
Recommend terminations and intercompany transfers
Lead the understanding, interpreting, and documenting of customer requirements and deliver those requirements to the appropriate production and lab departments
Monitor production and lab departments’ processes as they meet requirements and exceed customer expectations
Maintain equipment and work areas and eliminate safety hazards
Check material shortages, machine or equipment defects and causes for delays
Communicate between other shifts, supervisors, managers and departments regarding product flow through the facility
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Experience in managing production personnel
Ability to assist in interviewing and recommending hiring of production personnel
Skills in developing and monitoring work requirements and expectations
Experience in training personnel in work expectations and job related technical skills
Ability to set and monitor objectives
Skills in maintaining discipline, morale and personnel relations
Experience in documenting performance
Ability to recommend terminations and intercompany transfers
Skills in understanding, interpreting, and documenting customer requirements
Experience in monitoring production and lab departments' processes
Ability to maintain equipment and work areas and eliminate safety hazards
Skills in checking material shortages, machine or equipment defects and causes for delays
Ability to communicate effectively between shifts, supervisors, managers and departments
