InternThe University of Virginia is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for the Long Term Memory Lab in the Department of Psychology. The role involves developing and analyzing EEG research studies, managing data collection, and mentoring students while contributing to the writing and dissemination of research findings.

Responsibilities
Develop and analyze scalp electroencephalographic (EEG) research studies
Manage data collection for these studies, including management of graduate students, a research coordinator, and/or undergraduate students
Write and disseminate studies
Maintain a safe lab culture
Help mentor undergraduates and graduate students in the laboratory
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have received their PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a closely related field by the appointment start date
Candidates must have experience conducting neural research on memory, attention, or related cognitive processes
The candidate must also have strong leadership and project management skills to manage multiple projects at once
They are expected to maintain a safe lab culture, write research papers and grants, and help mentor undergraduates and graduate students in the laboratory
Preferred
Experience working with scalp EEG and/or functional magnetic resonance imaging data collection and analysis methods
Experience with human subjects data collection
