Design building electrical systems

Design photovoltaic, battery storage systems, and grid interconnection

Field investigations to document existing conditions

Interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making process

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility requirements

Qualification

Required

2-4 years of relevant experience

Well-rounded experience in building electrical system and/or distributed energy system design

Experience with Revit or AutoCAD

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

New York State Professional Engineer's license is a plus
