Responsibilities
Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture
Managing and working with cross-functional teams across multiple software products
Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business objectives, product requirements and specifications
Leadership and people management skills for career development and planning for direct reports
Analyze complex situations and identify key issues, developing logical solutions
Architecting, developing, and shipping software products and services
Write professional software code using object-oriented programming languages including Java or C#
Functional programming languages JavaScript and TypeScript
SQL relational databases and Document-based databases
Linux, Mac and Windows operating systems
Public Cloud Services Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
Software Deployment platforms Docker, and Kubernetes
Programming data structures and algorithms
Write efficient code without straining computer processing time and memory based on volume and performance requirements
Technical architecture design
Mentorship experience in a software development setting
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical field
5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Development Snr Manager-related occupation
Managing and working with cross-functional teams across multiple software products
Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business objectives, product requirements and specifications

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
