Responsibilities
Oversee all Human Resources functions for our Ohio manufacturing operation, including recruitment, onboarding training, compensation, benefits, and employee relations, ensuring a comprehensive approach to workforce management
Partner with leadership to formulate and execute effective hiring plans, particularly focusing on a smooth ramp-up for our Ohio site, ensuring a seamless integration of new employees
Oversee daily operations during the initial factory ramp-up phase, ensuring that HR practices support the site's operational needs and strategic objectives
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy, focusing on fostering a positive workplace culture and achieving organizational goals
Leverage analytics tools to monitor and report on HR and business performance metrics, using insights to drive improvements in HR practices and business outcomes
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and practices, communicating their importance and integrating them into all aspects of HR and business operations
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Provide interim support on scheduling facility maintenance and shipping operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager, ideally within the manufacturing sector
Result driven and show initiative to learn in a dynamic and competitive environment
In-depth knowledge of HR functions such as recruiting, employee relations
Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative in a leadership role
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective employee engagement, conflict resolution, and maintaining confidentiality
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with various HRIS and payroll programs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
