Responsibilities

May assist as a timekeeper, preparing employee schedules, ordering of supplies, reporting equipment malfunctions, and other related functions of the division as directed by the division/department leadership
May function as a Radiologic Technologist and be assigned in the division schedules. (Will adhere to the job description for the position)
Will make the division/department leadership aware of any incidents, problems or emergencies that occur in the division
Will respond to the radiologists and/or staff physicians regarding quality of patient care issues and relay information to the division/department leadership as appropriate
May assist with the training of new personnel, and/or student who are assigned to the division
Ensures that adequate supplies are in the division and properly stored
May perform clerical duties to include answering telephones, patient scheduling, and RIS functions as needed
May support Film Center functions such as: re filming, request folders, follow-up on missing/unread cases etc
May maintain records; keep logs and other documentation as needed
May participate in meeting, educational programs, etc. as necessary
Completes all necessary work sheets, patient records and documentation
Processes scans and related functions as needed

Required

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required
Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the ARRT advanced registry in CT
Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
Must maintain required hours of continued medical education
Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS)
