As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and scaling software that powers satellite operations, data processing pipelines, and integrations with global ground station networks.

Responsibilities
Develop and scale the software that powers satellite operations, data processing pipelines, and integrations with global ground station networks
Build robust, scalable systems that support satellite tasking, telemetry, data automation, and image processing workflows
Take ownership of complex technical challenges, ensuring high performance, reliability, and efficiency in delivering space-based data solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace, Data Science, or a related field
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, focusing on cloud-native applications, distributed systems, and backend infrastructure
Proficiency in AWS and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes on AWS ECS (or EKS)
Strong foundation in DevOps automation, microservices architectures, real-time data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, with expertise in Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and React
Strong background in designing, scaling, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure, particularly using Kafka (Confluent Cloud), event-driven systems, and high-volume data processing
Ability to independently lead development efforts, ship high-quality code, and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government regulations
Preferred
Deep Ruby on Rails Experience: Expertise in building large-scale applications with RoR
Experience in Rust would be great but not mandatory
Image processing experience
Astrodynamics, GNC, or physics experience for satellite simulations
