Oracle is seeking a visionary leader for the role of Principal Applied Scientist (GenAI). The main purpose of this position is to drive the development and implementation of methodologies for improving model performance based on human feedback while leading a team of scientists in advancing code generation and simplifying user interactions with database systems.

Responsibilities

Spearhead post training model research and development efforts
Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge methodologies around improving model performance based on human feedback
Lead a team of world-class scientists in exploring new frontiers of code generation for the most popular languages
Simplifying documentation, unit testing, optimizing existing code, explaining code and simplifying way users interact with the database systems enabling natural language interface

Required

3 to 5+ years of experience in applied science or related field
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Experience in model research and development

Knowledge of code generation for popular programming languages
Experience in simplifying documentation and unit testing
Ability to optimize existing code
Experience in explaining code and simplifying user interactions with database systems
Familiarity with natural language interfaces
