Responsibilities
Develop market-neutral, medium-frequency Alphas that predict future stock returns
Investigate and implement recent academic research
Develop algorithms to filter and combine Alphas
Parse data sets to be used for future alpha development
Apply machine learning techniques to alpha discovery and portfolio construction
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills
Creative problem-solving abilities
Persistence in finding strong Alphas
Experience in developing market-neutral, medium-frequency Alphas
Ability to investigate and implement recent academic research
Experience in developing algorithms to filter and combine Alphas
Proficiency in parsing data sets for alpha development
Knowledge of machine learning techniques for alpha discovery and portfolio construction
Preferred
Background in quantitative finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
Experience with programming languages commonly used in quantitative research (e.g., Python, R, C++)
Familiarity with financial markets and trading strategies
