Responsibilities
Develop, augment, and support integration and testing of components, from subsystems to the full spacecraft to determine suitability for flight
Work with avionics, payload and software teams to gather requirements, design test plans, determine applicable test cases, and prepare for test execution
Own integration campaigns and collaborate with responsible engineers, manufacturing engineers, software developers tooling teams to and any deliver a thoroughly tested spacecraft ready for launch
Communicate fluidly across a variety of teams to identify product risks and how they will be addressed to ensure mission success
Develop innovative hardware and processes to optimize and improve testing capabilities and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field
2+ years of hands-on testing experience
2+ years of design and validation of hardware systems work experience
2+ years of navigating a development environment
2+ years experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive or consumer electronics systems
1+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, MATLAB, C, Labview)
Solid understanding of Engineering and Testing fundamentals
Preferred
Experience in development of test plans and protocols related to established Space Hardware test processes (GEVS / SMC-S-016)
2+ years experience with integration and testing of satellite hardware
2+ years experience in a development environment
2+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, MATLAB, C, Labview)
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute test campaigns on complex systems
Experience as a technical lead, leading small groups of engineers through product development or test campaigns
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking in complex situations
Excellent problem-solving, root causing and analysis skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
