Riverside Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Instructor to develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum for their program. The instructor will be responsible for teaching both residential and distance education courses, supporting student outcomes, and maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and scholarly activities.

Instructor is evaluated on activities that support learning, including instructional design, delivery (both residential and distance methods), assessment, course management, and academic advising

Accountable for program, student, and graduate outcomes

Maintain professional competence in specific discipline through such activities as practice, continuing education programs, conferences, workshops, academic courses, research projects, and professional writing

Complete required instructional scholarly activity and professional development to include two (2) activities related to Distance Education, two (2) activities in the instructor’s professional discipline, two (2) activities directly related to teaching, and one (1) activity related to instructional simulation (not applicable to RN-to-BSN faculty)

Bachelors Degree, In the Allied Health Profession of hire, Education, or a related field (Required)

3-4 years Recent clinical experience (within last 5 years) or teaching in the specified field or a combination of the two prior to hire date (Required)

CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) (Required)

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) (Required)
