Responsibilities

Lead the technical implementation of AWS M2 for mainframe application modernization projects
Design and develop scalable, resilient architectures for migrating legacy systems to AWS cloud
Work closely with enterprise architects and stakeholders to define modernization strategies
Integrate and visualize business data using Power BI for analytics and reporting
Leverage Python for scripting, automation, and building GenAI-driven tools or prototypes
Apply GenAI capabilities to enhance automation, decision-making, or user experience within Life Insurance applications
Drive best practices in architecture, coding standards, and cloud DevOps within a regulated environment
Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams across architecture, QA, DevOps, and business teams
Ensure security, compliance, and performance requirements are met throughout the software development lifecycle

Required

10+ years of experience in software development, systems architecture, and solution design
Proven experience with AWS Mainframe Modernization (AWS M2), including tools like Micro Focus, BluAge, or AWS Migration Hub
Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboards, data modeling, and reporting
Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, etc
Working knowledge of Python, especially in automation or data processing contexts
Familiarity with Generative AI tools or platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, LangChain)
Experience in Agile/Scrum-based development environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Preferred

AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect) preferred
Experience in the Life Insurance or broader insurance domain
Exposure to CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with legacy modernization and rehosting strategies
