Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the design of urban landscape projects from concept through construction documentation
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Develop and refine design concepts, including sketches, 3D models, and presentation materials
Prepare technical drawings, construction documentation, and specifications
Perform construction administration duties, including site visits and contractor coordination
Mentor staff and contribute to the firm's knowledge base
Contribute to the firm's digital design workflow, utilizing and exploring new technologies and software
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design from an accredited program
5-7 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or urban design, with a focus on urban projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Vectorworks (within three months) and Adobe Creative Suite
Adept at developing digital 3D landscape architectural models (Within Rhino or Revit is preferred), including developing final renderings in Lumion or Enscape
Knowledge of construction detailing, grading, planting design, and sustainable design practices
Excellent graphic communication skills including strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Proficient in using Revit to develop construction documentation
Experience working with the application of AI platforms to landscape architecture
Experience in computational analysis for data-informed decision making
Ability to use Grasshopper within Rhino to develop design concepts and improve workflow
Has a willingness to learn new software and understand potential applications to enhance our office's services
Experience with or interest in community engagement and participatory design processes
