Responsibilities
Learn and apply the company's standard operating procedures
Preventive maintenance of the building, including fitness equipment maintenance, pool maintenance and chemical testing, plumbing, painting, light electrical and carpentry as needed
Restock supplies, replenish inventory and products
Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Greet members and guests through-out the property
Understand and anticipate the needs of the property
Be attentive and listen carefully to the member's and follow through
Follow up as required and communicate in a timely manner
Be an active participant in events, programs, meetings and training
Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings
Qualification
Required
Ability to read/understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, Associates, members, and the general public
Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Minimum three (3) years of building operations experience
Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities
Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
Self-motivated, takes initiative, anticipate the needs of others and willing to acquire new skills
Well organized and detail oriented
High cleanliness standards
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to sit; stand; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear
Ability to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
