The Defense and Government Travel Consultant II will provide outstanding customer service to defense & government travelers, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey by creating and managing travel arrangements.
Travel
Responsibilities
Creates domestic and international travel arrangements for clients to include air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
Ensure reservations are built according to client standards and preferences
Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations that provide the best traveler experience
Handle a wide range of bookings from simple ones to complex bookings with potentially non-standard and multi-destinations, ticket exchanges, and complex fares
Make changes or solve any issues that might occur during or before the travel assignments including both routine and non-routine work

Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years experience working as a Travel Consultant
Advanced knowledge of Sabre GDS
A genuine passion for high-quality customer service — we care about our customers and it's important to us that you do too
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
A positive, “can do” attitude
Willingness to learn and grow!
Must be a US Citizen due to government requirements
Authorization to work in the US is not sufficient for this position
Subject to a company and government background investigation including a criminal history and credit record review
Adhere to all government-required and/or company-mandated information security policies and regulations
Take all Information Security and Privacy Act training required by the Government and/or company
Safeguard any traveler personal identifiable information (PII) in accordance with applicable information security policies or regulations
