4+ years expPTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions. They are seeking an experienced Java Developer with AWS experience to design, develop, and maintain software applications while ensuring operational stability.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with a focus on operational stability
Implement and debug code using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices patterns
Develop event-based architectures and ensure system scalability and resilience
Work with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases for data management and querying
Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure high-quality code
Leverage AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, MSK, SNS, API Gateway, Step Functions, and storage services
Collaborate across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver robust solutions
Adopt agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices
Qualification
Required
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 4+ years of applied experience
Proficiency in Java and experience with ReactJS for front-end development
Demonstrable ability to code in one or more programming languages
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies
Ability to design and develop highly scalable, resilient, and low-latency applications
Preferred
Practical experience with AWS services is highly preferred
Exposure to Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber
Experience with micro frontend UI technologies such as ReactJS, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
