Responsibilities

Work within system development methodologies like Scrum

Utilize a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools, and existing designs

Analyze highly complex business requirements and write complex functional system designs to meet these requirements

Act as the highest-level individual contributor as a developer on projects, collaborating with technology partners, Principal Engineers, and architects to understand and implement technology solutions

Provide technology recommendations and support post-production activities

Develop new documentation for departmental procedures, training, and user guides

Ensure quality, security, business continuation plans, and compliance requirements are met and documented

Required

10+ years of experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle using Agile, Iterative, and/or Waterfall methodologies

6+ years of experience with .Net, Microservices, MSSQL, Kafka, and Nunit

Preferred

5+ years of technical design experience

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills

Experience creating sizing or work estimates

Exposure to database data modeling

Experience using source control tools like GitHub

Applications knowledge within financial services or payment systems, including Home Equity Lines and Loans, Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Retail Loans, Business Loans, Automobile, and Educational Loans

An industry-standard technology certification in Java

Experience with modern technology stacks, including Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, Microservices, Kafka, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, AppDynamics, Selenium, Cloud Technologies (PCF/Azure), Oracle, and MongoDB
