Responsibilities

Provides care during interventional spine procedures utilizing industry standards
Ascertains DNV/ISO standards and specialty recommendations met for department
Understands the transfer and viewing of images via the imaging storage and viewing software
Understand the ordering system
Coordinate care with attending Physicians and other caregivers as needed
Maintain, clean, and re-stock procedure rooms after each procedure and as needed
Comprehensive understanding of the medication management system
May assist with and demonstrates understanding of setting up and maintaining a sterile field
In-office transportation of patients as needed pre and post procedure
Assumes responsibility for own personal continuing education and developmental needs. Attends meetings, workshops, and conventions to increase clinical skills
Provide professional communication with providers, caregivers and patients
Conducts self in a professional manner
Each caregiver is responsible for implementing SJRMC’s Service Standards into their daily work: Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship

Radiologic Technology ProgramAART RegisteredNM State CertificationBasic Life Support CertificationC-arm operationAdvanced Cardiac Life SupportCardiac monitoring experienceInvasive procedural experience

Required

Completion of formal Radiologic Technology Program
AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registered
NM State Certification for Radiologic Technology
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred

Experience operating a C-arm
Knowledge of normal and abnormal vital signs
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Continuous cardiac monitoring experience including identification of normal or abnormal cardiac rhythms
Invasive procedural experience involving moderate sedation
