The Principal Security Engineer - Hardware Security will conduct security assessments of production hardware and develop requirements for future components, while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational security posture.

Responsibilities

Conduct security assessments of the production hardware that runs the cloud

Develop requirements for future Networking, Storage, Compute components

Work closely across Oracle, with third party vendors, and with standards organizations to influence the next generation of hardware platform security

Define the supply chain and operational requirements to establish best practices for managing security for every device in the data centers

Collaborate with OCI's operations and engineering teams to improve Oracle Cloud's overall operational security posture

Perform a variety of work ranging from cloud security, application security, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, and hacking/enterprise network penetration

Performs a variety of work ranging from cloud security, application security, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, and hacking/enterprise network penetration

Ability to make the right tradeoffs, communicate those decisions effectively, and execute crisply
