Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney
Xerox Holdings Corporation is a company with over 100 years of experience redefining the workplace. They are seeking a Commercial and General Litigation Associate Attorney who will handle various litigation cases from inception to conclusion, including drafting pleadings and managing discovery.

Responsibilities
Research and collaborate with senior attorneys to devise case strategies
Take and defend depositions
Manage discovery (including electronic discovery)
Draft reports, legal memoranda, pleadings, discovery demands/responses, motions, briefs, etc
Participate in trial/ADR proceedings
Represent clients in court
Manage day-to-day aspects of employment law and personal injury files, under supervision
Maintain reasonable monthly billable hour requirements
Familiarity with Zoom, MS Teams, and other video conferencing platforms to participate in depositions, court conference, and meetings
Qualification
Required
3+ years of litigation experience
Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school
Admission in New York (or ability to waive in) required
Ability to travel for in person depositions and court conferences, including overnights
High level organization skills for prioritizing workload
Demonstrated ability to absorb, process and understand new information rapidly
Maintain high standards of performance
Must exhibit conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility
Experience with online research sites
Excellent research skills and written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to manage competing priorities
Must maintain high standards of performance
Must have experience with online filing and research sites
Preferred
Familiarity with taking and defending depositions
Familiarity with, and experience in Federal Court
Additional Admission in Federal preferred
Experience before NYS courts; federal court experience preferred
Familiarity with Zoom, MS Teams, and other video conferencing platforms to participate in depositions, court conference, and meetings
