Education
Responsibilities
Administer standardized tests, class exams/quizzes, and comprehensive exams to students with disabilities
Schedule exams, read exam questions to students, collect exam materials, scan, and pick up and deliver exams to respective departments
Apply required procedures for managing testing rooms, verify the count of test materials, and be aware of related test security issues
Understand the importance of safeguarding materials at all times and promote good public relations by answering procedural questions and handling complaints
Report and document all necessary irregularities and process paperwork related to exam administration
Qualification
Required
Equivalent to two years of education at an accredited institution of higher education or two years of full-time work experience
Experience working with students with disabilities
Must possess legible writing, accurate spelling, and excellent communication skills
Must be dependable and punctual
Ability to read directions clearly to examinees
Ability to complete forms and interact well with students and instructors
Ability to apply required procedures for managing testing rooms and related test security issues
Ability to verify the count of test materials
Understanding of the importance of safeguarding materials at all times
Ability to promote good public relations by answering procedural questions and handling complaints
Demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU
Must reside in the State of California upon date of hire
Preferred
Broad knowledge of academic higher education environment
