DK Law is a modern injury and accident law firm dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences. They are seeking a Legal Assistant - Treater to coordinate client care, ensuring timely treatment and effective communication between clients and medical providers.

Responsibilities

Match clients with specialized providers based on injury type (chiropractors, orthopedists, pain management, etc.)

Schedule and track all medical appointments (initial evaluations, follow-ups, diagnostics)

Coordinate transportation solutions for clients with mobility challenges

Conduct weekly check-ins to monitor treatment progress and address barriers

Educate clients on the importance of consistent medical documentation

Escalate urgent medical needs to attorneys for case strategy adjustments

Maintain detailed records of all medical visits and treatment plans

Flag gaps in treatment that could weaken the case

Prepare regular treatment summaries for attorney review

Comply with HIPAA regulations

Perform other duties as assigned
