Postdoctoral Scholar - Jutras Lab
Northwestern University is seeking a talented postdoctoral associate to join the Jutras lab to study the biology and pathogenesis of Borrelia burgdorferi, the Lyme disease spirochete. The role involves conducting experiments, designing approaches, and engaging in scholarly activities related to microbiology and immunology.

Conducting molecular, cellular, and/or experimental models of infection
Designing experimental approaches, data analysis, background research
Preparing manuscripts, grant writing, and other scholarly activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology (or related fields)
Molecular Biology techniques
Able/willing to perform bacterial infectious disease studies in experimental animal models
Data analytics
Data presentation
Preferred
Productive PhD in an active and engaged environment
Advanced microscopy
In vitro and ex vivo mouse immunology
