Responsibilities
Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
Prepare technological equipment
Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated
Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems. This would include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance
Preparing new systems for deployment and coordinating installation with the end user. Updating appropriate inventory systems to reflect the current system status
Respond to assigned work orders and maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress in work order database. Promote creation of knowledge base
Learn how to manage technology inventory
Qualification
Required
minimum 1 years' experience with Windows and Apple hardware and software
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Very good communication abilities
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
Excellent customer service skills
Possess the ability to understand and follow instructions
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+) will be an advantage
