Assistant Teaching Professor - Accounting
Penn State University is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor of Accounting at their Scranton campus. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate accounting courses, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in university and community service.

Responsibilities
Teach four courses (12 credits) per semester of undergraduate accounting (e.g., introductory corporate, introductory managerial, intermediate, auditing, taxation, cost, and financial statement analysis)
Use traditional, hybrid, and online instructional delivery methods
Perform scholarly activities such as presenting at conferences
Participate in course, curriculum, and program development
Advise undergraduate students
Participate in campus, University, community, and professional service
Qualification
Required
MS in accounting or MBA with accounting emphasis from nationally accredited Business or Accountancy program (AACSB is ideal, ACBSP is acceptable) at regionally accredited university
CPA or CMA certification
Background checks including PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
Preferred
Ph.D. or DBA in accounting from nationally accredited Business or Accountancy program at regionally accredited university
