Responsibilities
Actively source credit co-investments from external fund manager partners that align with GIC’s investment strategies
Build and maintain relationships with fund managers to create robust pipeline of co-investment deal flow
Perform initial screening of co-investment opportunities and provide constructive feedback to fund managers
Oversee and manage co-investment processes between external fund managers and GIC underwriting teams
Prepare detailed reports and summary presentations on deal sourcing strategies and results
Engage in fund underwriting and portfolio management as secondary responsibilities
Qualification
Required
At least 4 to 6 years of credit experience, preferably as a fund allocator
Strong network and understanding of the credit fund landscape with the ability to leverage relationships for sourcing opportunities
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
A proactive thinker who can articulate his/her views well, both in verbally and in writing
Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
Preferred
Prior direct credit investing or co-investment underwriting experience preferred but not required
