Responsibilities

Work in coordination with architects and educational planners to design site layouts, site grading, vehicular access and parking, athletic fields, and other design work

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new and existing educational facilities

Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA standards, and educational facility regulations

Prepare civil engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates

Integrate sustainable design principles, including stormwater management and green infrastructure

Support construction administration and respond to RFIs and field issues during school construction

Use CAD and BIM tools to produce and revise engineering documentation
