Responsibilities
Join us at the heart of Apple’s security ecosystem! JMET develops custom server side security solutions which enable Apple to meet the security and privacy objectives for all products
Our services are responsible for establishing hardware root of trust, System and Module provisioning and certification, Secure Software Update, and Secure Repair initiatives to name a few
Every product that we manufacture, minus soft goods, interacts with one or more JMET services during its lifecycle
This role involves a blend of technical acumen and collaborative skills, as you’ll work with a diverse set of cross functional teams
This role also requires the candidate to provide operational support and occasional travel when need arises
Qualification
Required
12+ years of relevant industry experience shipping critical deliverables
Proficiency in C/C++, and Swift or other object-oriented languages
Solid understanding in cryptographic primitives, such as PKI, ASN1, x.509, authentication protocols, key exchange protocols, and PQC algorithms
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Proven track records in shipping mission-critical security components in C/C++ or Swift that runs on memory constrained environments
Proven track records in leading large cross-functional teams in mission-critical initiatives
Proven track records in designing, implementing, and supporting large scale security systems that are in production today
Proven track records in presenting to senior leadership and executives, ability to read the room and represent project team appropriately
