Intuit Tax Specialist

Education at Work (E@W) is hiring college students to work as Seasonal Tax Specialists for Intuit (TurboTax) this tax season. In this role, you will connect with customers virtually, provide tax advice, assist with tax return preparation, and create positive customer experiences while gaining valuable skills and experience.

Responsibilities

Connect with TurboTax customers virtually using Smartlook video chat software
Provide tax advice and full-service tax return prep (we’ll train you and guide you)
Answer product and software questions
Assist with tax calculations and break things down in simple, easy-to-understand language
Create positive customer experiences by being empathetic, patient, and confident
Use trusted resources (government sites, training tools, and your team) to make sure customers get accurate, clear answers
Follow company policies to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns
Document your customer interactions (don’t worry—we make it easy)

Qualification

Basic tax knowledgePreparer Tax Identification NumberCustomer service skillsProblem-solving abilitiesSpanish/English bilingual

Required

High school diploma
Enrolled in a degree-granting college program
18 years or older
Basic tax knowledge is helpful but not required—we'll train you!
Get (or be able to get) your Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
Must live in the U.S

Preferred

Spanish/English bilingual skills
