Responsibilities

Coordinate and communicate with internal or external clients to understand their needs
Manage a portfolio of projects meeting client and company requirements for safety, budget, quality and schedule
Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support
Mentor and manage junior staff and project level geotechnical professionals through project performance
Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis
Coordinate tasks and manage medium to large size multi-disciplined projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff
Prepare or review designs, reports and calculations on complex projects

Required

Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support
Mentor and manage junior staff and project level geotechnical professionals through project performance
Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis
Coordinate tasks and manage medium to large size multi-disciplined projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff
Prepare or review designs, reports and calculations on complex projects
Strong analytical skills in areas including soil and rock classification, slope stability analysis, earth retention systems, shallow and deep foundation design, construction support, soil improvement techniques, materials testing knowledge
10-15 years of related experience
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License and ability to be licensed in multiple states
Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self-motivated, organized and have a keen sense of detail
Willing to work in addition to a standard 40-hour work week when needed
