Pediatric Health Choice is a leading Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center dedicated to improving the lives of medically fragile and developmentally delayed children. They are seeking a compassionate and experienced Contract Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy services for pediatric patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

Conduct physical therapy evaluations for pediatric patients with complex medical and developmental needs

Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support gross motor development and functional mobility

Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy sessions

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with PPEC and state regulations

Educate and support families regarding therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and mobility strategies

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during care planning and progress reviews

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, clinical standards, and ethical practices

Qualification

State license as Physical TherapistPediatric experienceCPR certificationInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsCollaboration skills

Required

Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Current CPR certification and ability to pass a Level II background screening

Preferred

1 year of pediatric experience (PPEC, early intervention, or medically fragile population experience preferred)
