Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will perform CT procedures, ensure radiation safety, and maintain effective communication with medical staff to deliver quality imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians
Demonstrates adequate radiation safety practices as it relates to both patients as well as co-workers
Participates in all Radiology Management System functions pertaining to patient procedures
Provides patient education as required
Maintains effective communications with referring physician and radiologist staff to provide for the efficient delivery of CT procedures
Abides by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in interactions with patients, visitors, employees or other customers
Adheres to appropriate and accepted clinical principles, methods and procedures while performing CT procedures
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
NYS Radiology Technologist license and ARRT
Preferred
NYS Injection certification
One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a full service hospital
ARRT CT Registration
Benefits
