Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using various programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and Ruby on Rails
Implement service-oriented architecture and microservices to enhance system functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and solution architecture
Develop ETL processes for data integration and management
Ensure cloud security measures are integrated into all solutions deployed on platforms such as AWS and Azure
Conduct system administration tasks including load balancing, firewall configuration, VPN setup, and DNS management
Engage in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins and Git
Perform debugging, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening to maintain information security
Create RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration with existing systems
Utilize databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle for data storage solutions
Participate in systems engineering tasks including system design, computer networking, virtualization with VMware or ESXi, and cloud infrastructure management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and computer management principles
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Shell Scripting) for automation tasks
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Knowledge of NoSQL databases as well as traditional SQL databases is a plus
Proficiency in tools like Kubernetes for container orchestration and VMware for virtualization is desirable
Understanding of threat intelligence concepts and vulnerability management techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues efficiently
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across different departments
